Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-09-09

1. Who runs this service

Finlyze AI ("Finlyze", "the Service") at finlyze.ai is built and run by a single independent developer — one person, not a company. There is no incorporated entity behind it, no registered office, no staff, and no support department. One mailbox handles everything — support, privacy, security and anything legal:

[email protected]

Please read the rest of these Terms with that in mind: this is a personal project, running on personal hardware, offered to a small number of invited users.

2. What the Service does

Finlyze pulls together market data, filings, news and macro series and runs AI agents over them to produce analyses, charts, forecasts, backtests, persona debates, watchlists, alerts and course material.

It is a research and education tool. It does not, and will not:

  • execute trades, hold assets, or move money;
  • connect to your brokerage account;
  • give you personalised investment, tax or legal advice;
  • act as a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or any other licensed financial professional, in any jurisdiction.

3. Invite-only beta

Access is by invitation. You can request an invite from the sign-up page; the request goes into a queue that the operator reviews by hand. While invites are required, registering without a valid code still creates your account, but the account stays inactive and awaits manual approval — you will not be able to sign in until it is approved. AI features are enabled per account, and an account may carry a daily token ceiling.

The beta is free. No payment processor is connected to the live service and no card details are collected anywhere. If paid plans ever appear, these Terms will be updated before that happens.

Because this is a one-person beta, the Service can change, break, or go offline without notice. There is no uptime commitment and no service-level promise. Export anything you would be sorry to lose (Settings → Account → export).

4. Who may use it

You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live) and able to enter into a binding agreement. Do not use the Service where doing so would break your local law, and do not use it if you are subject to applicable trade sanctions. The Service is aimed at international users and is not offered to residents of mainland China.

5. Your account

You are responsible for your credentials and for what happens under your account. Two-factor authentication (TOTP) is available in Settings and is recommended. Repeated failed sign-ins lock an account for a period; changing your password signs every existing session out. If you think someone else has access to your account, write to the address in section 1.

6. AI output can be wrong

Everything the Service shows you — reports, target prices, probabilities, technical readings, debate verdicts, backtest statistics — is produced wholly or partly by AI models running over third-party data. It can be inaccurate, stale, internally inconsistent, or simply invented. Verify any number or factual claim independently before acting on it. Nothing the Service produces is a prediction you can rely on.

7. Not investment advice

Finlyze AI is a financial information and education tool. Everything on the platform — AI-generated analysis, ratings, price forecasts, buy/sell signals, portfolio diagnostics, debate verdicts and historical signal statistics — is impersonal, general-circulation information provided for informational and educational purposes only, and does not constitute investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security.

Finlyze AI and its operator are not a licensed investment adviser, broker or dealer, and hold no licence in any jurisdiction. Investment decisions you make are your own, taken on your own account and at your own risk; consult a locally licensed professional where appropriate.

8. Backtests and past performance

Backtests, hit rates, model accuracy and every other historical metric shown on the Service are computed from past data under simplifying assumptions (modelled or zero commissions and slippage, no survivorship-bias correction). Past performance does not indicate or guarantee future results. Live outcomes will differ.

9. Acceptable use

The assistant runs model-generated code in a sandbox on the operator's own machine, and every model call costs the operator real money. So:

  • do not use the Service to break any law, or to abuse or harass anyone;
  • do not attempt to escape the sandbox, reach the host machine, or interfere with other users' runs;
  • do not scrape or automate bulk requests beyond your own personal use of the product;
  • do not resell or repackage the output as licensed financial advice, or use it to provide regulated services to third parties without your own licence;
  • do not upload other people's personal data.

The operator may throttle, suspend or close an account whose usage is abusive or disproportionately expensive.

10. Your content, and the operator's

You keep ownership of what you put in — watchlists, portfolio entries, questions, notes, feedback. You grant the operator a licence to store and process that content for the single purpose of running the Service for you. Your conversations are not used to train any model. Whether a model provider retains a prompt sent to it for inference is governed by that provider's own terms; requests routed through OpenRouter are sent with a "no data collection" preference so they go only to upstreams that do not retain them.

The software, prompts, agent designs and brand assets are the operator's.

11. Third-party data and models

The Service depends on third parties and cannot work without them. Model providers currently wired in are Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI and OpenRouter (which routes onward to further models); DeepSeek, Kimi (Moonshot) and GLM (Zhipu) are supported and used when a key for them is configured. Market, news and web data come from Yahoo Finance, Coinbase, Deribit, Frankfurter (ECB reference rates), FRED, NewsAPI, Reddit, Google News and publisher RSS feeds, and — for live lookups — Tavily and Firecrawl. Cloudflare fronts the domain.

Each provider's own terms govern its part of the Service. Their data may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and their availability is not something the operator can promise.

12. Ending it

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account; deletion removes your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. The operator may suspend or close an account for breach of these Terms, abuse, a legal requirement, or because the beta ends — with as much notice as is practical, and with the export still available beforehand wherever that is possible.

13. No warranty, and the limits of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranty of any kind, and in particular no warranty that any figure it produces is correct.

To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for trading or investment losses, or for indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud — and nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

14. Changes to these Terms

These Terms carry a version. When the text changes materially, the version changes with it and the new text appears on this page; your account records the version that was current when you signed up. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email where that is possible.

15. Law and disputes

There is no arbitration clause here, no chosen foreign forum, and no class-action waiver. A one-person beta imposing a distant court on its users would be posturing, not a bargain.

If something goes wrong, email [email protected] first — it will be dealt with in good faith and, in a project this size, usually faster than any formal process. Beyond that, whichever law and courts apply by default where you live are the ones that apply, and your mandatory local consumer and data-protection rights are untouched by this document.

16. Contact

Everything, including anything about these Terms: [email protected]. Replies come from one person, usually within a few days.
